Environmental

Chaoju Eye Care demonstrates its environmental commitment through concrete actions, resolutely advancing high-quality development that is both green and low-carbon •Formulated the Energy Management System, the Water and Electricity Management System, and the Hospital Energy Conservation and Consumption Reduction Management System to standardize resource management across the Group and its subsidiary hospitals;
•Established relevant targets for energy use and waste management, with the 2025 objectives already achieved;
•Integrated climate change response into the Group's ESG governance structure, and incorporated climate change risk relevant work into routine risk management;
•Conducted Scope 3 greenhouse gas emission inventory and disclosed three categories of emission data for the first time, including business travel and employee commuting.

Chaoju Eye Care, while providing consumers with high-quality medical services, offers employees a diverse range of welfare benefits and actively engages in community public welfare activities by leveraging its own strengths.

The Group attaches great importance to environmental, social and governance (ESG) management. It has formulated the Environmental and Social Responsibility Management System, and built a top-down three-level ESG governance framework and management mechanism to standardise ESG governance and continuously improve ESG performance. As the highest decision-making level, the Board of Directors is responsible for reviewing the ESG strategy and supervising major risks. The ESG Committee, led by the Board of Directors, is responsible for formulating ESG policies, regulating risks and promoting the achievement of goals. Each department of the Group and its subordinate units are responsible for the specific implementation and reporting to ensure that ESG work is integrated into daily operations.

Medical Quality

Upholded the “patient-centered” service philosophy consistently, formed a four-tier quality management system comprising the “Group–Region–Hospital–Department” levels, and established a multi-dimensional supervision mechanism encompassing “daily inspections, quarterly review and notifications, continuous tracking, and annual assessment and evaluations”to provide high-quality medical quality.
•Assurance of Medical Safety
Promoted the application of rational drug use information systems, and the prescription rationality rate is over 98%; Checked the relevant qualification certificates of suppliers and insisted on selecting premium medical supplies; In 2025, no significant medical disputes or litigation happened.
•Pharmaceutical Quality Management
A quality management system that covers the entire lifecycle of pharmaceuticals, from raw and auxiliary materials, and packaging materials, intermediate products, to finished products has been established in preparation room; Adhered to the principle of “Quality First, Needs-Based Procurement, and Selective Sourcing” to ensure the quality of medications and the legality of procurement activities; In 2025, no severe or cluster ADR incidents occurred.
•Medical Quality Culture Development
Conducted over 80 medical quality training sessions, reaching more than 2,000 participants, with a qualification rate exceeding 90% and a 100% pass rate; Established a medical quality incentive mechanism, and awarded reward hospitals and individuals that meet standards.

Employee Training

Guided by the core philosophy of "Empowering the Foundation, Fostering Growth," Chaoju Eye Care has established a comprehensive, multi-level, and full-cycle talent development system.
•New Employee Training
Establishing a closed-loop management system encompassing "learning platform – task flow – signature confirmation – comprehensive assessment – certification," to ensure standardization, traceability, and measurability in new employee training. In 2025, the Group cumulatively trained 420 new employees, achieving a program completion rate of 98.5%.
•On-the-Job Employee Training
A total of 31 specialized training sessions for all headquarters staff and selected hospital personnel have been provided, and the average satisfaction rate for these sessions reached 96.2%; Training and capability building are extending deeply toward the business front, and a positive cycle of "training input – model replication – business improvement" has been formed.
•Management Personnel Training
Operating the “Dean Training Camp (Executives on Growth)” series continually, and inviting industry experts and Group executives to share their management wisdom and industry experience; Launched the "Hospital Backbone Management Capability Enhancement Camp" and other projects, covering approximately 400 mid-level employees from various hospitals. Post-training assessments indicate an approximate 40% improvement in team execution performance scores.
•Cultivation of Professional and Technical Talents
The “Spark Plan – Resident Physician Transformation Journey" has been implemented, covering more than 150 resident physicians and postgraduates. After the training, the standardized compliance rate for clinical operations increased by 45%; Projects such as the "Basic Standardization Course for Cataract Phacoemulsification" and the "Standardized Training for Fundus Laser and Fluorescein Angiography" have been conducted, a total of 117 professional and technical talents have been cultivated, with a skill assessment pass rate of 92%.

Community Investment

Chaoju Eye Care leverage resources and expertise in ophthalmology to provide community residents with services such as volunteer medical consultations, screenings, and health education, thereby continuously safeguarding public eye health.
•Volunteer Medical Consultation and Vision Screening
We actively fulfill our social responsibilities and are deeply committed to public welfare initiatives. In 1998, we launched the inaugural "Chaoju Brightness Action". Mobile Ophthalmic Surgery Vehicle Project As a long-term partner of the Asian Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness, Chaoju Eye Care deeply engages in the mobile eye surgery vehicle project. Chaoju Eye Care has cumulatively provided vision restoration for over 80,000 patients with eye diseases, and helped 2,248 children with amblyopia regain clear vision. Furthermore, we have innovatively driven the deep integration of the project with the Belt and Road Initiative, and performed free vision-restoring surgeries for 791 patients in Mongolia.
•Enhancing Ophthalmic Diagnosis and Treatment Capacity Development
We fully leverage our resources and strengths in the field of ophthalmology to provide professional ophthalmic training for countries or regions where medical resources require enhancement. “Belt and Road·Bright Journey” Mongolia Action Optometry Training Course In 2019, the "Belt and Road·Bright Journey" Mongolia Project was officially launched as one of the commemorative events marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. Through theoretical learning, workshops, clinical practice, and case analysis, Mongolian ophthalmologists learned the latest clinical and research advances in optometry in China, and deepened their understanding of the principles and concepts of optometric medicine.
•Eye Health Knowledge Dissemination
We continue to deepen its efforts in eye health knowledge dissemination and public welfare services, committed to protecting the visual health of the public with professional expertise, allowing clear and bright vision to illuminate everyone's lives. Chaoju Eye Care "Love Your Eyes" Day During the Children's Day and "Love Your Eyes" Day period, Chaoju Eye Care focused on preventing and controlling myopia in children and adolescents, launching special educational activities. Through immersive interactions, children can intuitively experience the wonder of vision, and "protecting eyesight" is transformed from an abstract concept into concrete cognition. All hospitals also actively carried out live streams related to the theme of Eye Care Day, offering in-depth yet accessible explanations on high-incidence eye diseases across different age groups, the prevention and control of myopia in children and adolescents, as well as common eye-related hot topics. They also provided real-time online Q&A sessions, efficiently delivering professional eye health knowledge to a broader audience.

ESG Governance

Adhering to the vision of “Being a Leader of Happy Ophthalmic Healthcare”, Chaoju Eye Care continued to focus on development and value growth in the ophthalmology sector and identified six key areas related to our own operational development. Moreover, we have established the ESG strategy and promoted the implementation of the Group’s ESG management to ensure the high-quality development of the Group.
