As the Chief Medical Officer of the Company, her main responsibilities include medical quality control, supply chain management and information management of the Group.
Ms. Yang Yajun, chief physician, master tutor of Baotou Medical College and Inner Mongolia Medical University, has been deeply involved in the ophthalmic medical industry for more than 30 years. She was appointed as the Chief Medical Officer of the Group in December 2017. Prior to this, she served as the Director of the Medical Quality Department of Chaoju Eye Care Holdings Limited from July 2015 to December 2017, responsible for the medical quality and service management of the group's hospitals. Prior to this, Ms. Yang Yajun served as the attending physician, deputy chief physician, chief physician, business director and director of Chifeng Hospital from June 2005 to December 2014. Prior to this, she served as a physician and attending physician in Zhangjiakou Eye Hospital and Huailai Specialized Hospital from July 1992 to June 2005, respectively, responsible for providing ophthalmic diagnosis and treatment services.
Ms. Yang Yajun has won the municipal May 1st Labor Medal and has been named the Asian Foundation for the Prevention of Blindness’ Annual Advanced Person for five consecutive years since 2016. Since November 2016, she has been a member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Inner Mongolia Medical Association and a member of the Inner Mongolia Physician Association. Since 2018, she has been a member of the Ophthalmology Committee of the China Association of Non-Public Medical Institutions, a standing member of the Ophthalmology Branch of the Medical Devices and Equipment Association, and a member of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Branch of the China Research Hospital.
