National level-2 professor, chief physician. Graduated from the Department of Ophthalmology, Medical Department, Harbin Medical University in 1983. Began to serve as a master's tutor in 2000. Former Director of the Teaching Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hospital, the 9th and 10th National Committee Member of the Ophthalmological Society of the Chinese Medical Association, and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Currently a member of the cataract division of the Ophthalmological Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a standing member of the Ophthalmology Committee of the Chinese Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, a member of the cataract division of the Ophthalmological Society of the Chinese Medical Association, a member of the Cataract and Refractive Surgery division of the Cross-Straits Medical and Health Exchange Association, a member of the Member Work Subcommittee of the Chinese Medical Association, a vice chairman of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Ophthalmological Society, and a member of the expert group of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Continuing Medical Education Committee.
He has been engaged in ophthalmology clinical work for decades and has been committed to ophthalmology clinical work, teaching, and scientific research. He is able to promote and apply new technologies in clinical practice, and has rich experience and comprehensive skills. He can independently solve difficult and serious cases in this profession and has skilled surgical techniques. He is good at cataract phacoemulsification surgery and intraocular lens implantation, especially for the treatment of complex cases such as hard nuclear cataracts, cataracts after glaucoma surgery, and cataracts combined with uveitis. He has rich clinical experience. In 2011, he carried out a clinical study of 1.8mm coaxial micro-incision cataract phacoemulsification combined with ultra-thin intraocular lens implantation in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
Since 1990, he has presided over and completed 16 scientific research projects of the Science and Technology Department and the Health Department of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region as the project leader. As the first leader, he won the second prize of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award in 1997, 2000 and 2012, and the third prize of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Science and Technology Progress Award in 1995. Since he became a master's tutor at Inner Mongolia Medical University in 2000, he has trained and graduated 38 graduate students and published 112 academic papers in core journals such as the Chinese Journal Series.
In 1995, he was awarded the "Outstanding Young Intellectual of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region". In 1997, he was named as one of the first "Cross-Century Academic and Technical Leaders of Medicine and Health in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region" by the Health Department of Inner Mongolia. In 1998, he was awarded the "Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region" by the People's Government of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 1999, he was selected as a level 2 candidate for the National Personnel Ministry's Hundred Thousand Talents Project (321 Talent Project). In 2000, he won the "China Ministry of Health International Exchange Center Japan Santen Pharmaceutical Ophthalmologist Award". In 2001, he won the first prize for outstanding contributions to health science and technology in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. In 2001, he was approved by the State Council to enjoy special government subsidies. In 2014, he was awarded the title of "Outstanding Talent of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region".
Expertise: Diagnosis and treatment of various complex and refractory cataracts, especially hard nuclear cataracts, cataracts after glaucoma surgery, cataracts complicated by uveitis, etc. He has rich clinical experience in the treatment; he has profound attainments in fundus diseases, glaucoma, pediatric eye diseases, corneal diseases, and ocular trauma.
